AIRSEAL is recognised by Building Control as suitably qualified to carry out air tightness testing.

Being registered with BINDT gives the added security to builders and developers that their homes are being tested to recognised national standards by qualified engineers.

Testing On Site

Prior to visiting a site, our engineers will calculate the exact areas of the buildings to be tested. Once on site they will offer advice to site managers and carry out a pre-test check for leakage.

Upon completion of the test they will issue the developer with a report which is then forwarded to the relevant Building Control officer within seven days. For any building failing a test, the developer may wish to have a diagnostic smoke test carried out before a re-test is undertaken.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the test, AIRSEAL will inform BINDT and certification to the required ATTMA TS1 standard will be issued.

All our testing equipment is calibrated to UKAS standards.
